Book Challenge

Taken June 23 2010 at Ramona

I am enjoying the challenge of project 365 though some days are harder than others. I am going to add to my challenge.

I have decided to read one book each week.

Along with photos I will keep a log of the books I read. I will read everything depending on my mood and what appeals to me that week. Some will be famous literary works and some will be cheesy easy reads. If I get bogged down I have found "1001 B ooks to Read Before You Die". While the editor seems to find authors he likes and puts on multiple books by them, it will provide a great reference when I go searching for something new. I am aware that this list is not all inclusive and I believe there are many great books out there so I will continue to search outside the list as well.

I have linked to the list online but you can actually buy this book as well and while this is not an place for advertising I need to reference my source. So there you go.

Let the reading begin!

In the Garden

Today is a series of garden photos taken June 2, 2010

As I was beginning my vegetable garden I discovered these new biodegradeable pots. The started plants and flowers come in these pots instead of the plastic cups. This is great because it cuts down on waste and helps prevent transplant shock.

Step 1: Soak the pot in water

Step 2: Gently peel the bottom half of the pot off and drop it in the hole.

Step 3: Plant the whole thing in a pot or garden.
